This map uses Esri’s public satellite imagery as the background and pulls real parcel boundaries from your county’s public GIS service. No accounts or keys required. Parcel coverage depends on the county service configured below (currently Mendocino County, CA).

Install ParcelWalk

Open this page in Safari first. In-app browsers (Facebook, Instagram, Messages previews) can’t add apps to the Home Screen. Tap the “…” or compass icon in this browser and choose Open in Safari.

iPhone doesn’t offer a one-tap install button. Adding ParcelWalk to your Home Screen takes three taps:

  1. Tap the Share button at the bottom of Safari (top-right on iPad).
  2. Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
  3. Tap Add in the top-right corner.

ParcelWalk then opens full-screen from your Home Screen, with no Safari address bar eating into the map.

About ParcelWalk

ParcelWalk shows county parcel boundaries on a satellite map. Search an address or pan and zoom, then tap a parcel for its APN, acreage, fire & coastal zone, elevation, and slope. Switch basemaps and toggle overlays (fire, flood, wetlands, coastal, zoning, CDP, roads) from the on-map controls.

Not a survey. Parcel lines, acreage, and zoning shown here come from public county GIS data and are approximate. They can be off by many feet and must not be used to locate property corners, settle boundary questions, or make legal, purchase, or construction decisions. Only a licensed land surveyor can determine true boundaries. Confirm anything that matters with the county and a surveyor.

Walk parcel turns on live GPS for walking a property in the field: a blue dot with accuracy ring and compass heading, plus your distance to the nearest boundary — for finding corners and fences on the ground. Tap again to stop.
